Hey guys I'm trying to get an idea of what my 1842 o seated liberty small date quarter is worth. I took a couple different pictures so you an see the details. Please let me know what you think thank you!
The coin has been cleaned and has an obvious scratch. Still, it's a scarce coin with fine details, and is probably worth something approaching $1000 to the right collector.
Harshly cleaned. More like $500. While this is a rare coin, it has been improperly scrubbed and cleaned, and the surface is damaged and can never be changed for the better.
