I have this note, but when I took to the local shop, he couldn't find it in his price guide. Does anyone here recognize it, or know anything about this note? Any help or info would be appreciated

vnickels might be able to help you a lot. He's one of the people in this forum who has an obsession with obsolete notes. There are also guide books out there for these types of notes, but unfortunately I don't have one of them. Sorry.

One from 1839 on Heritage sold for $22 in 03 and it was a decent note and graded Fine. I say yours grades Good. So value on yours I would say going of the note I looked at maybe $15-25 bucks if your lucky.

A lot in 06 sold for $126.50 and there was 8 grading from G-VG. So yours is probably a $15 dollar value range I am guessing.

The Bank of Gallipolis is one of the most commonly found Ohio obsoletes. The pricing given by others sounds about right.
