I like it. Don't know the grade but it looks like it has low wear. I really enjoy these different denominations.
10 mm round reeded Tiny that why some are in good condition they get hidden in anything. So small. 2 pence are 1 pence silver smaller too 7 mm ????
I'd call it EF. It may be from a Maundy set. I think a few of the 2d may have circulated in Malta and other colonies. Only 1838 and 48 were made for general use, the other years are certainly from Maundy sets. It is also called a half groat. A full groat (4d)was made for a few years but never saw much use.
I personally like the half farthings and quarter farthing. I would like to own one someday. It just blows my mind that there was money units that small.
Lady who I got this from found it in a old desktop cabinet in a old bank in Grant Alabama.I paid 75c for it and a few other coins a Australian 1920 No dot penny. I found a few good dates and ccountry's
also a third farthing--the half farthing is common and not expensive,the quarter issued for use in Ceylon is very scarce,i haven't seen one for years
