I have the same variety. I forget the specific number, but I remember it being common and not worth any premium.
Die breaks are found on the older coins, almost any denomination. They didn't have the technology our current mint has. Being hand engraved, the mint pressed them into action to the point of failure. What would be a great find is a die break on a new coin. That would be an notable piece. But you probably wouldn't get too much for it. Today's machines can run off an unbelievable amount of coinage in a short period of time. Including unnoticed die cracks.
It's more like, "Did any 1837 die pairs not crack?" This one's GR-5, not a particular rarity but pretty interesting for the reverse die being in essentially three pieces.
