Photo is not very informative, in hands it probably looks quite different. Judging by the details, which are not bad at all, the price is around $120.

Die variety might be a factor. St. George can be with/without mantle, eagle tail feathers, 3 or 5 feathers above orb turned up or down etc. I am not into this particular type so can't say anything for sure about 1834 so check appropriate catalogs to see all varieties, such as Konros or Bitkin. And don't forget biddiots who offer ridiculous prices first and ask questions later, these can not be predicted. Could have been the case with that $406.
