    Looks like the seller just lacks photo skills. Be interesting to see what his future offerings look like. I like the coin as a VF, it has a thick original patina (at least on the obv) but if the op wanted a nice XF for type I completely agree with the return. (SuperDAve,could I borrow you retrospectoscope sometime, it seems to be a marvelous instrument.)

    How much of that was looking at the original pictures with an unbiased view, and how much was finding the marks already knowing that they are there?
