    High VF, might not grade problem-free, and really not much to be gained by trying certification. Decent looking, a nice type coin to hold raw. IMO

    JMO - VF Details 95 Scratch. Value $35-$50. Keep coin in flip, enjoy it as is.

    The base grade is EF-40, but it has suffered from some recent improper storage. There are bright spots and small scratches on the high points which have probably lower the grade to VF. As another poster said, you really need to use a flip or be very careful about album slides which can do some serious damage.

    Thanks everybody.
    The picture is not very good, but it has a bit of rainbow toning in some spots. The scratches were already there when I got it about 10 years ago.
