1833 Contemporary Counterfeit Bust Half Dollar

    I was hoping someone with a copy of Davignon's book could help me identify this beautiful counterfeit I picked up this morning!

    Here is my new 1833 Contemporary Counterfeit Bust Half, common but very nice piece. Always nice to have a trading piece like this. 1833 half obv.jpg

    Contemporary counterfeit bust halves can be lots of fun. Davignon's book is great resource.

    What a neat set. If you have a collection of these, you should post these on Collective Coin. I have always found contemporary counterfeits interesting.
