1833 Capped bust Halve dollar (Davignon or Real) and grade

    Guys and Gals,
    My gratitude for you who have saved me a lot of money and embarrasment checking out my coins.
    I tried to repeal the law of "You get what you paid for", It Dont Work!!!!
    Take your best shots at this coin and tell me "Yup or Nope"

    Well it is a horrible 1833. But looks ok as an 1838:)

    Also they dont use Davignon for these. They use Graham-Reiver or GR

    You are correct good sir, Never have a nightcap before you post (1833 my a+++++)
    Other than that does it look cleaned or can I sent it to the TPG,ers and get a MS 64 ??

    I would tend to lean towards cleaned at some point as evidenced by the dirt still in some of the denticles of the rim. I'm not an expert at grading these but I seriously doubt it would get an MS grade. Note some edge dings.

    Sorry to say, but it seems to be a cleaned AU coin and not worth submitting...
