    Hey there,
Doing some browsing on eBay and came across this strange 1832 half. Trying to peg the Overton variety and can't seem to figure it out. It appears that there are die cracks on the obverse from cap to star 6 and on the reverse from eagles wing through S.
In addition to that, the letters on the reverse look pretty "muddy" to me. Any input would be appreciated!

The reverse looks like REV J, but the obv doesn't match

Is that indicative of a possible counterfeit? Also, would you agree that those are die cracks and not damage on the obv/rev?

Looks like it might be O-107...obverse 5 reverse F ?????

However obverse 5 was used after this marriage to make O-108 at which time it shows no sign of a die crack at star 6.

    Okay, I agree, O-107

About the die crack, most likely Overton simply got the emission sequence wrong
