Question; How much does a ding on the edge reduce the overall grade of the coin ?

I can't get a good view (PIC) of the edge, but the ding could be from the edge mark stampings.

What would you guess this coin would grade at ?

It has been cleaned, so the rim ding won’t hurt it that much further. It looks like AU-50 details, so take the AU-50 value and divide it by half or so. It is probably worth a little more than that.

AU-50 Details, cleaned. Rim ding and cleaning both reduce the value significantly. Tough to find original AU CBHs. Most are market acceptable cleaned examples graded AU by a TPG.
