1832 Caped Bust Half Dollar GTG

    Bought this yesterday. The variety is O-115, which is actually pretty important for this coin’s grade.

    EF-45. The reverse looks weaker, but I believe I see mint luster in the protected areas, which is part of that grade.

    On first glance, I thought VF35, net graded down because of the reverse. Obverse looks XF to me.

    I saw quite a bit of original luster too. Why the xf 45 grade. That coin really doesn’t have a lot of true wear and has really attractive surfaces

    Was going to say 45 at first, but to me, really close 40/45. How about 43 3/4? lol
