The coin is currently in a 2x2 and I currently don't plan to take it out for sentimental reasons. It has been in there for at least 40 years. Anyways, it appears that the R in "or" in the edge lettering "fifty cents or half dollar" is missing. The "O" itself looks like it was put in as an afterthought, as it appears to be ON the reeding, unless that is how it was normally done. Is this the bottom of the "R"? Seems like it would be too close, compared to the other lettering. Here is the coin, which I was trying to determine if the ribbon containing "E Pluribus Unum" is doubled. Any thoughts on that?
