Anyone have any clue about this piece. I just got it the seller said thought it was a 1830 Sou token. I see sou tokens in NGC would coin guide but don't see a 1830. any help would be appreciated.

I've seen this one before. Back then several banks in Canada issued sou coins. This one is from the People's Bank of Montreal.

In Haxby there are two issues listed, both 1837. Yours is the Belleville Sou. The prices visible in the 2nd pic are for the rebellion piece which is 4-5X more valuable than the Belleville.
