    It says right on it where it's from....Guernsey...worth few dollars.

    "Four Doubles" is the equivalent of a British Halfpenny; 1830 is a common date, Krause lists the coin at $2.25 in fine condition. To clear up a common misconception, Guernsey, Jersey, and the other Channel Islands are not part of the United Kingdom.

    I just learned that myself not too long ago Doug. I always thought they were part of the UK.
