    AU?
    laminate and cud error?
    Price expect to sell at?
    Not worth grading?

    Your opinion would be appreciated!

    Thanks,

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Yes, AU looks correct. I have no idea what it would sell for, as this is not my market.

I don't see any lamination errors.

What I do see is a long die crack through DEI GRATIA.

But far more interesting is the retained die break on the left side - the die has literally broken apart, and part of it is pushed in farther than the rest of the coin (thus, the field between the letters is higher than the rest of the field). This is not yet a cud (which is basically just a blob), but a few more strikes and that piece of the die will likely fall out and then you'll have a cud.

    Really cool coin.

It's a $125-200 dollar coin. I would think that the die break and crack probably won't add much to the value, but they are pretty neat.

Only worth grading if you need/want to sell it. A few more posts and you can list in the Buy, sell, trade forums. If it won’t sell raw you can always get it graded in the future.
