Hello Everyone. I am a new member. This is my first thread so don't flame me:)

I love this coin and have read it has a really low mintage so I wanted to share it with the group to see what you all think. I plan on keeping it and having it graded and slabbed, if it worthy of such.
Also, 20210309_200405_resized.jpg 20210309_200405_resized.jpg Screenshot_20210309-202336_Gallery.jpg 20210309_200405_resized.jpg should I have it professionally cleaned by say PCGS before it is slabbed? All comments and suggestions welcome and thank you all for your assistance.

I would leave it as is , it has such awesome character and nice condition . I also think it could reach at least VF 40. ;)

This is what JMBullion sells them for

Kind of on the edge of grading or not. Wait to find a consensus of opinions.

Wouldnt bother with conservation either, they would very likely decline to do anything even if you asked for them to review it. I wouldn't submit it on it's own, but I would put it in with another submission I had going

Very nice half cent, I believe it is a strong XF45. Baseball beat me to it, PCGS probably wouldn't do much for conservation if anything at all.

Grade it for protection and authenticity. Well worth the expense and effort.
Don't have it conserved, looks just fine the way it is.

I agree w/Sal. I've also heard that when cleaned, often the coin gets downgraded.

Thank you. I have never submitted any coins for grading as of yet but I plan on submitting any the group finds worthy.

Thank you. That's my sentiments exactly. I recently joined PCGS, so I have 8 free coupons for grading.

    I would grade it...especially if I had a coupon.

Thank you. I am gonna send it in to be graded. I really like this coin. One down 7 to go. ;) for the free coupons anyway

The old cleaning and Obverse gouges at 1:30 and 7:30 are detractors, but it should still receive a decent grade. Overall, it's a nice coin!

That's a well preserved cent. There's nothing to restore.
    Great looking Half Cent!
