1825 DARK BROWN cent maybe a N-7?

    I am not certain but I think it is the Newcomb 7 variety, maybe someone could help... It is not very attractive when looking at it straight on but when tilted it shows some sharp detail and makes you really wish it wasn't so dark brown. If it is a newcomb variety cent, I wonder if it would be worth sending in for grading and/or conservation????

    Not worth the money conserving that one, you would be surprised what a distilled water soak and a thorough q tip roll will do.

    I like large cents no matter what the variety is.

    I agree with the Newcomb 7.
    It's an R-2 coin.

    To be worth slabbing IMO it would have to grade at least XF.
    I don't see that.
