Not much to do tonight, so let's play some good old fashion "Guess the Grade". :)

Here's a newp of mine. Can't say I entirely agree with the grade PCGS assigned, but I'd like to hear what you all think.

I don't purchase from D. Lawrence too often, but I must say his images (scans) are superb as far as color accuracy goes. :thumb:

Anyways, have at it, guys and gals! :D

I'm gonna pretend I didn't see the grade.. lol
I'd say it looks like a solid vf-35

Cazkaboom One for all, all for me.

Looks like a 35 in a 30 holder to me as well.

  11. When I first looked at the coin I said 40 details but in a 35 holder because PCGS hates dark coins.

Still a beautiful example. I like the dark patina personally

Wow, that means a lot coming from you... ;) Your theory about the surface color makes sense, though.

    and thanks, cciesielski! :D

I'm glad you could actually buy something from him. Before I bought my CBH at teletrade, I tried for a week to sign up there with no luck, always a technical error.

Anyhoo, according to PCGS photo grade, I would say XF-40.

    Yup, they're hard to find!

And nice cir-cam capped bust Brian, I have a few that look similar to that.

    If I didn't see it was a 35 I'd of said a XF -40 , that's a beautiful 35 , nice pick up .
