1821 bust quarter

    A beautiful coin, VF-25, the old cleaning is pretty much normal on all coins from this period.

    I assume it is a rubber band burn (seems like a lot of bust coins get band corrosion), but it's not too bad fortunately.

    I think that is a very nice and original bust quarter -- far, far above average for this series. It gets two thumbs up from me: :thumb: :thumb:

    I also think it was correctly graded VF 20. :)

    Great piece, and I know how scarce those early Bust 1/4's really are.
    I would think a high end VF.

    Sorry for the delay. The coin is in a vf-25 holder. It is a b-5 variety, which is the scarcest variety for the date. I am quite pleased with this one :)
