1818 Half Odd Question

    Only on that particular obverse die. Then the punch was replaced.

    I looked in my book to see if it was listed. I stated that it was in the book, and what it said. So, if not rare, then it has changed since the book was printed. So, yes I could b e wrong. I was corresponding to the coin pictured.

    Breen was saying it was ex rare in UNC. And you have to remember that a LOT of the encyclopedia was actually written in the 1950's. There is a lot more information available today regarding availability.

    Love me some Bust Halves. Got a 23, 24, 27, 29 thru 36. I don't really care about the varieties though.
