1807 King George III

    I've been looking for a low-price, nice quality King George III coin for a while. The dealer bought this ten minutes before I got there and he flipped it to me. It has (what I think) is a very old patina or maybe an old cleaning. It's almost a dark chocolate color.

    Farthing, half penny, or penny? (all have the same design)

    It was probably very reasonable.

    It was part of a bulk buy. So divided evenly it would be around $5. It's a farthing.

    Nice coin

    I used Microsoft Office Picture Manager to correct the color of the background (to white). Does this look more like the true color of your coin? Nice coin.

    I think I have a farthing photo I can post.

    Yep, you nailed the color.
    Your coin has nicer detail on the reverse. Nice!

    Depends. It can range from a couple of bucks to $30 depending on who's asking. I was comfortable with $5.
