    Hello everyone,
I have never identified an Overton variety before, and I was hoping someone with experience in capped bust halves could help me out. I purchased this half from a friend for $30 (yes yes, I know what your thinking) a few years before my interest in coins took off. I do in fact have the Overton book, and after studying the several varieties I believe this is my coin, based off the two lumps beneath the 7: IMG_3483.JPG
And finally here is the coin: IMG_3477.JPG IMG_3478.JPG

That is a very old edition of Overton. It looks like the O.114, which is an R3.

I'd take just about any Bustie, especially one from 1807, for $30 any day of the week. Very nice coin. :)

CBH from 1807? R3? you paid $30? ...and you weren't asked to donate one of your kidneys as well? ;-)
