Yea I’ve read into olive oil quite a bit last night and due to its acidic properties this will not be applied. I think I’m narrowed down to mineral oil but I read that even that has trace amounts of things that can affect the copper..

I think so also but I was looking at some graded AUs and XFs and I were still able to find slabbed ones with god awful marks so I guess the TPGs are more after the details on these older cents is true?

    Verti Care may be helpful.

I could not find Verdi care anywhere but I did pick up some stuff called classic coin conditioner that supposed to be the blue ribbon replacement.. I also got something called blu bow that is a coin conditioner. I got the classic coin conditioner on wizard coin supply for $22.99. I will be doing test runs on various junk coins and testing before I attempt them on any worth value as I have not heard anyone speak of either of these two items. I wish I could try VC though.
