My step father gave me some of his inherited coins knowing I began collecting for about a year now... I have slowly been going through everything I received, and using this time as an opportunity to learn :)

Now, I came across an 1804 Half Cent Draped Bust coin, which I think, is the no stems variety. What do you guys think? Looks really good compared to what I have seen. So, what's it worth?

    Plain 4, Stemless Wreath, VG8, $70 or $90

looks better than vg 8 to me. f-15 would be my guess.

I have seen a few VF-35 grades given to these that are plain 4 no stem and had more wear. I guess it is hard to tell with digital imagery. I would be happy with any F-VF grade

If you grade it by ANA Grading Standards it looks VF40-45. That would be a coin I would get slabbed.
