And in that second thread, all I'm seeing is helpful advice. You even got sites to bookmark and told what tools you need to buy. Frankly, I think you're overreacting.

No not ticked off. Your breakdown is relatively evenhanded all things considered. I did not intend to hijack this thread and I hope it can return to its original purpose. I like helping people more than criticizing them. I am a teacher, and in my experience, if you want to tell something to someone and have them listen, remember, and internalize it, looking down on them and talking to them in a hostile, critical manner... usually is not the best way to go. I have found praise and giving people the benefit of the doubt to be much more effective tools.

I'm not the kind of person to go into another person's thread and speak negatively about them. Or assume they are doing something illegal without knowing. Or write a long post criticizing them. It frustrates me when others come and do those things on my threads. But they are free to do it. All I can control is my own reactions.
