What the heck??!! Why did you delete your post? I would have liked to see the photo of your coin but you deleted it. Other members here could have possibly learned something from your post but you deleted it.
But the point is, it's better to leave the photos and the thread in place so others can see and learn. Maybe the OP felt embarassed for asking the question (once he found out the coin was fake), and if that's so, there's absolutely no reason for anyone on CT (or any other forum) to feel that way. This is how we learn, and it's a never ending process.
That was my point. If everyone deleted their initial post after getting their answer Coin Talk would be nothing but a graveyard of deleted posts. Most of us learn from other people's mistakes. There is no opportunity for others to learn from your coin (or question, or experience, etc.) if, as soon as you get your answer, you delete everything.
