Hi All, Other than the apparent cleaning, does it look authentic? I'm concerned about the lack of relief even though details are there. Thoughts? It has the correct edge lettering by the way. Thanks in advance. -Ron

I think it looks OK, the only thing odd about it I see at first glance is what happened to her chin? Does it look like the coin has received a hit there?

This looks like Head of 1793 with rounded relief, minimal obv denticles, the head lower on the obv, and the cap more upright than the Head of 1794 or 1795. Thoughts?

Yeah, I'm not aware of a 'pointed chin' type of variety. Are you? I don't see a bad ding mark in that area.

    Definitely NOT a head of 93, it's a head of 94.

    Maybe Sheldon-21?

    Looks authentic to me.

Nice coin. I wish I had a Liberty Cap cent, but my cents only go back to 1798...

Yes I would agree on S-21.
