1791 Washington Cent, Real ?

    Seller says its silvered or silver, in my Red Book it only shows copper, also the stars near the eagles head look larger on this coin.
    The seller normally sells good stuff but is noted for his poor pictures using a heavily scratched misty scanner for his ebay images.

    I've never seen anything but copper... I'd be suspicious at best

    Maybe an electrotype?

    Silvered makes sense. Electrotypes are typically the same material as the host coin as far as I've seen.
