    Sure, lots of them. Quality control was not very good in some of the private mints making colonials. As long as they would circulate there was more profit in minting as many as possible without worrying too much about quality. Clipped planchets, off center and double struck are probably the most common. I have collected Colonials for over 40 years, and actually prefer coins without errors. That is a nice looking Connecticut!

    Might be harder to find a colonial issue without a flaw or mint mistake. For me that's what makes them interesting.
