It seems like a good price. I wonder if it's from the El Cazador shipwreck. If it is that great because that shipwreck has a pretty cool story. Here is a link that I found when I bought my 8 reale from the El Cazador

http://www.elcazador.com/

I found a set with a 1783 MO NGC Certified El Cazador 8 reale, 1922 NGC BU Peace Dollar, 1884-O NGC BU Morgan and a 1974 NGC BU Ike dollar in it and bought it in January for about $140 with shipping. I like the shipwreck coin the best and bought the set just for the it. The other 3 coins were just a bonus for G. When we went to the FUN show in January a dealer had an 8 reale similar to the one I bought in the set. It was also NGC, same year, same mint mark but not as nice in hand as mine and he was asking $300 just for that one coin. G said we could do much better price wise, so I waited and it paid off. :high5:

This is a link to the set I bought.

http://www.franklinmint.com/product1.aspx?SID=2&Product_ID=9546

It's one of those Franklin Mint things and I never would have paid their price or bought directly from them, but we paid less than 1/2 than the price they're asking so I'm happy with what we got and what we paid. :thumb: We've got another 8 reale, but it was "harshly cleaned" and we weren't aware of that when we bought it. It's too bad because it's a nice coin, but in hand it looks dull and doesn't look as nice as my shipwreck coin. I really want one of the pillar dollars from Peru next. I like those too and I would like to find a certified shipwreck one in good shape.
