It is nice to see bicentennial coinage being noticed. These were minted for two years and they are quite common still in circulation. As stated, worth twenty-five cents.
@Freddiecallahan ...The mint made over 809 million of these, and everyone and his sister buttonholed them. Unless they are silver or MS60 minimum, only worth FV. Right now a 60 is .50 certified...Spark
You are jesting, right? Who in their right mind would have an MS60, or for that matter, an MS-65 Bicentennial quarter certified? Are there really MS60 certified examples out there? Or is that .50 just hypothetical?
Why do people get their damaged pocket change slabbed ? Because everyone is wrong and it's a mint error !! ... later to sell it on eBay for junk prices.
It's worth face value. They minted way to many of them. They were hoarded and they still can be found in circulation.
My momma saved us 3 rolls still in bank wrappers of these quarters. Can't remember if they were mint labled. Red and white maybe

They weren't, the mint didn't sell rolls of quarters that year, and the mint does not roll quarters that get shipped out to banks.
