1776-1976 quarter D error

    Can anyone tell me about the D and the hanging F?

    The D is a filled mintmark which is pretty common and doesn't add any value to the coin. As for the hanging f, all the 1976 quarters have that.

    The filled D is common (it's a die chip, nothing major) and the f is normal
