I have a coin and would like to know the value of it.
The heads side states clearly, "Dei Gratia" "Carolus III" 1773
The tails side states clearly, "Hispan Etindrex" then some sort of symbol, then "J.R."
The heads side portrait's face is not easily determinable as a result of natural wearing.
The tails side center diagram is quite clear with crown, coat of arms, and columns.
There does not appear to be any holes in it whatsoever.
Any information regarding this coin would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you!

    Howdy Donna -

So your coins looks kind of like this one ?

It's a 8 reales from one of the Spanish colonial mints. If it looks like the one I pictured, it's Potosi, Bolivia. Value is dependant on condition and I'd need a picture of your coin to see that.
