1772 Great Britain Half Penny (for colonial use)

    1772 Great Britain Half Penny.

    This is pc 2 of probably about 5 or 6 British examples that I am going to display in my Colonial Collection. Should have it in hand next week! I am particularly happy with the shield on this one. Also...its the key date.

    Feel free to comment. Thats why I am posting most of my new colonials. I can use all the help I can get!

    Was 149.00 got him down to 80.00. I bought it tonight.

    I've got the 75,77.... I'll get the 71 and probably just display those 3. I have much more complicated pcs to get....but i wanted a few of these for they're historical importance.

    Would love to see other member examples.

    If you want a British halfpenny with American connections you should get a 1749 as well. Huge quantities of 1749 farthings and halfpennies were shipped to the colonies to pay for help during the wars with France.
