] May 5 cinco de mayo 16000 post a d 21000 likes ,and a new cool variety cent, Ain't life grand......to celibrate this huge event....I'm going to share a little secret .....while living in the Covid-19 days......one I learned in my youth traveling though Mexico..... Hard boiled eggs and beer......yeppers the two foods that can substain a man or woman in the toughest of times! As each are boiled..... and for the most part won't cause food born illiness. However I do suggest limiting both to no more than a dozen apiece. That way you limit rectal thunder!! Happy Cinco de Mayo! Everyone....
Congrats as well. Thanks for being here. I love the cent. Not many coin types with a 360 crack. Pretty coin.
This is a very nice example of a N-10. As it turns out, all known examples of this variety have the full 360 degree crack through the stars and top of date. One example of this variety supposedly without the crack was later found to have had the crack smoothed. The Randall hoard included thousands of this variety in high grade. Dan
Nothing better than enjoying Cinco De Mayo on Taco Tuesday while drinking a Mexican beer named after the COVID-19 virus admiring your newly acquired coins!
Ah, reliving the follys/follies of our youth! It's a wonder you and I survived those days. Congratulations on your contributions here. Here's my example of the 1818 Randall Hoard N-10.
This is one coin that's been on a short list for sometime now. Not exactly this coin shown above ,but one like it. I fell in love with the 1818 N-10 A long time ago. Being a creature of habit I always leaned towards my strong points in collecting ....of which coppers are not . I am very happy with my choice ,as I did look at others in the same range. From the images the color and condition are both eye appealing. This one is a keeper.... thanks to everybody's input stay safe.....Paddy
Beautiful coin, I just noticed the 1818 cent and purchased two as my birthday is the 18th my coins are not as nice as your coin but I love the date. We all collect for different reasons. Thanks for sharing
