I bought this about a year ago at a coin show out of the $10 ancient/medieval pick bin at one of the tables. It is identifiable as a 1566 1 Tari made in Malta under Jean de la Valette. Old Malta coins seem to sell for fairly high prices on Ebay, and a VF piece (with corrosion and two very heavy pits) sold on VCoins for $145 USD. Anyone know what this is worth?
