And some, especially among the later dates, are known for having an above average strike, with a few even having a strong strike. The &#039;04 falls in the average category. And this coin, given the flatness in the hair and weakness on the eagle&#039;s breast, I would say is average.</p><p><br /></p><p>But I will say that you are not alone in making the wrong assumption when it comes to O mint Morgans as they do have the reputation of being weakly struck.
