They were advertising pieces. The green holder is for the Muir Drug Stores. These were issued in the early forties. There is also an orange holder, so I'm looking for one of those now.</p><p><br /></p><p>The top coin is dated 1936 and the next one is dated 1937. Both coins are in great shape with the reverses showing a little mint luster in hand. The obverses have some staining.
