This just got graded my NGC, and other than knowing it is a scarce coin(4 graded by NGC including mine). Anyone have any idea on the value of such a coin.

I don't have the coin in hand yet, should get it by Friday.

I would not put a lot of stock in the fact that NGC has only graded four of them. That only means that they have had four genuine pieces sent to them, assumming that there are no crack-outs in that group, which there are probably none. There are many more that are in collections that NGC has never seen.

I apply my American grading standards to my British coins, which I know is a no-no, but I'm too old to change. I grade this Henry III as a VF, and I paid $120 for it.

Thanks. Before reading this, I figured $150 was a decent start price, and that still sounds right to me for a 53.
