Thanks, but you set your bar too low! Yes, the same son had this display made several years ago. Not as fancy as the MA display, but nice nonetheless.
Nice indeed. An amazing assemblage and display. On a side note, I really like the world map background from the display. I used something similar to display my Grampy's WWII medals:
Great set of Flavians! The Vespasian is iconic, the Titus commemorates the opening games of the Colosseum (or the eruption of Mt Vesuvius, depending on what theory you subscribe to), and the Domitian is a classic Minerva and quite rare.
Alas, my 12 Caesars set is never finished. I upgraded 3 this year. I want to upgrade my Julius Caesar, Vitellius, and Otho. Then *maybe* (NOT!) I'll be content with the group.
Nice and interesting Although I've read Suetonius in my 30's, in my collecting habits of cherrypicking "the coin that talks to me when I can afford it" I only realized I had almost put together the 12 caesars set when the 11th came in. Doing the job unknowingly is easy, I hence have no merit Q
Despite your lack of intention you deserve merit for your beautiful cherry-picking. That's truly a royal assemblage!
