Slightly better grade. :) Next to woodies and toners, these bn coins with tinges of red around the devices are my favorites!

I also really like very dark, black toned Lincolns. I buy everyone I see!

And of course, no 1916 set is complete without some wood! :D

This is my favorite year for Lincolns due to the new master obverse hub. I wish I had pictures of all mine, these are but a few.

those are my #1 favorite.. love them with brn luster and only a hint of red... if for anything else you get both eye appeal and value $ at the buy.

Nothing wrong with average joe stuff. After work I'm going to indulge in some of that.

It's after midnight here on the East Coast ... a new day. On to the 1917's!!

This was a raw coin that I bought for $95 off eBay ... and PCGS graded it MS65RB first time through. The coloration reminds me a bit of some Matte Proof Lincolns (1909-1916) I've seen.

Thanks for the "instant gratification" WL! That 17 is nothing short of extraordinary.

My picture library is sadly small for these two years. The '17 is 65RB and replaced a 65R. Its eye appeal was so striking to me I had to "trade down!"

The '11-D is even more impressive in hand - a great find!
