Recent pick up. I just added this one to my graded set. It is a PCGS MS67RD 1978D Lincoln Memorial obv and rev. NGC currently grades 1 in this grade with none higher and PCGS grades 28 with none higher

    I miss this thread.

I like 'em grimy! Often people are too quick to use stuff on a coin like this including my very own product. I say NO!

That one's not too bad, but I think I would clean it up and conserve it.

    NoooooOOooooooo :headbang:

It's a nice, original coin....it will stay that way as long as I have it.

I agree with you BadThad. Too many people want the shiny stuff or want to buy a coin and clean it. Leave the cleaning and conserving for the coins that absolutly need it not the ones that look great. I only use the Verdi when I have coins that need to be conserved such as that 1909 IHC that had corrosion on it. Oh well you cant save em all.

Would you ever consider parting with it? :)

WingedLiberty; You have a stunning collection of proof Lincoln Cents there. You must have searched high and low for all of those and it must have taken quite a long time. You've got a great eye for these proofs!
