103 Days of Lincoln Cents

    New to thread. I don't really know where to post but as you are talking about pennies I thought it would be okay. Can anyone tell me about the 1968 S and 1969 S pennies? I have one of each. The 1968 S is missing the "A" in United States. I think there must be an interesting story to go along with the error. There's only a very faint mark of where the capital "A" would have gone. Thank you! Forgot to mention that 1963 Riviera is one of my favorites. My mother drove my brother and me around town in a cream and coco one for many years.

    Scottish, welcome!

    Your best bet is to start a new thread to get your questions addressed. And the first thing everyone will want is images, so you might hold off until you have decent pictures to share.

    Hard to speculate about the '68-S. Sounds like a grease-filled die.
