Could very well be my favorite copper color. :D Anyone think there's a shot at 65BN? It has strong cartwheel luster under all that. This would be pretty sweet in a PCGS/CAC holder, eh?

A rainbow toner for variety in my set. Matches pretty well on both sides. Album toning I would guess. With the finger print from when it was pushed in the hole? Ha ha

This coin has toned nicely on mint state details. My 30 P is 66 RD but I wont bore you with that here. A couple more days and I'm out of coin pictures for this thread. They all start getting too easy to keep my interest. Time to start looking for a few Matte Proofs I guess. I don't have any yet and those take on some super nice toning for sure.

Coppermania, I'll be sorry to lose your set. The problem with my collection is that I placed almost equal emphasis on ALL 103 years so I'm just getting started.
I can't wait to show a lot of killer Memorials. Meanwhile my date run '34 to '58 is all 67R - except the '55DDO.

    Ahhhhh....but there's some primo toners on the market from 33 up.....especially 1934.

Love the true rainbow toner! NICE!

I guess I'll be able to jump in sporadicly as this thread advances, I just stopped date and mint collecting at 1933. I appreciate ones ability to continue, I just needed to walk away to focus on other coin desires and I settled on that cut off point.

Sorry guys...some how I screwed up and posted 1930 when I should have 1929.

How about a toner? Interesting, this coin is brown straight on, but things change quick at angles and when you shift the lighting around.

My typical target grade 65 BN. the D is sort of a woodie but not very dramatic.

I sold this coin when I found the RB one beneath. Charmy has it now in her set, last I knew...

Interesting that NGC designated this one BN although my opinion says RB but it is borderline I guess. I wish I could find more coins with this deep RB effect and pay BN prices for them.

WOW! Eye poppers! The 31D is THE BOMB! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

The reverse of your 31-S looks to have the same sort of toning that my 31-D has on it. I've been wanting to slab mine but I feared they might bag it recolored. You gave me some confidence with that slab.
