    I admire the honesty of this person. Integrity is a trait that is seldom found in the world today. I think if I had found it, I would have drooled over it for a week and then contact the authorities. The way the article was written, it sounds like the authorities were very rude to them when it was returned. I would like to hear anything that was said and/or done by the owner of the coin. As in many cases like this, the person that finds something that is that valuable doesn't get the credit for returning the valuable item. The police get all the credit for their part in finding the coin.

    Another lesson here ... don't store your gold in a cardboard box under the bed. :) Your spouse might toss it in the trash.
