    Morris was the man and a 10 inning shutout is just plain ridiculous, especially in a World Series game.

    This contest was rigged!
    But really, thanks for the contest Petro. It was a good one and brought back some memories for me when I was looking up the players.
    I also grew up watching and collecting cards during the 80's and 90's.

    GO TIGERS!

    You going to opening day? I wonder if they will accept silver half dollars for beer at the stadium. The silver value is the same as the beer cost.

    Actually if you didn't know the price of silver is actually based on how much beer cost at a ball game.

    Remains to be seen if I will be going. A friend has season tickets and I get invited every few years to opening day. I'd love to get a mini-season package but I just can't go to too many games. So I usually just wait till single game tickets go on sale around March 1st and get tickets to 4 or 5 games or so.


    Ahhh...baseball, beer and silver. Some of my favorite things :D

    I'm not sure how I managed to miss seeing this contest but I did. Had I seen it I would have closed it because it does not comply with the forum rules for contests. That rule being that all contests must be numismatically related.

    Please, in the future follow the rules !
