But the reactions that he inspires are a cumulative effect of his selfish posting style. Creating thread after thread only to abandon them without ever posting again. Sending unsolicited PMs to members for advice, failing to say thank you, and then using that information in future threads to present himself as an expert. Over the course of time, people will naturally start to respond to him in a negative manner. You say you saw many PERSONAL ATTACKS towards Detecto. Personal attacks are against CT rules and are usually moderated. What I saw were not personal attacks, rather members using his own words against him. Another of his bad habits was posting contradictions within his own threads. And many of those engaging in that behavior had never made such posts in all the years that they have been members of this forum</p><p><br /></p><p>The fact is that people like Detecto and BNB become such a community disruption that it becomes necessary to ban them for the greater good of the forum even if they did not break forum rules per se.</p><p><br /></p><p>Paul[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
