100 Pesetas 1966 (69) Straight 9 - Fake ?

    Hi everyone,

    I got this today at my store and i´m guessing because of these being famous for being altered that this one is one of those. I´m having a hard time finding a refrance to how they should look on the almighty net.

    Any friends from spain who can confirm my suspition.......

    it is legit. all of the coins have the year 1957 date, but the numbers inside the stars go from 58-75. the date the coins were issued is inside the star. your coin catalog number is KM#787 mintage-24,000,000 copper-nickel

    The coin in question is the 1966 silver 100 pesetas km#797 [1969] straight 9

    BU price is cataloged around 600 Usd the market price is much lower

    my bad. i did it for the 5 pesetas. well my 2013 Krause catalog says these are worth...with straight 9
    XF-75.00 UNC-150.00BU-175.00
    the regular goes for $500 in BU
    how much did you spend ?
