    Looks almost like what we call 'float copper'. I'm from Michigan and up in the UP in copper country, the copper still floats to the surface and you can go find nice nuggets if you know where to look and are patient. [note to readers: it's very rugged country and gets about 14 feet of snow every winter].

    Speaking of a large gold nugget, what ever happened to that huge gold bar that was stolen from that museum a couple of months ago?

    Make that "about the weight of a newborn", albeit a slightly undersized one -- it's a bit under 7 pounds, assuming that's 100 troy ounces. Gold's about 19 times as dense as a newborn, so it's going to be a lot "smaller".

    when can i hold a piece of 100 ounces gold?. is that heavy to hold it?. is that dangerous when someone is around you?. how much will this one cost?.
